License Activation

Please use this page to generate activation file for your licenses. Activation is required for and only for the following licenses:

IDA Pro floating licenses (in order to run the license server)
IDA Teams licenses (in order to run the vault)
Lumina licenses

The ida.key file can be found in the IDA installation directory (e.g. C:\Program Files\IDA Pro X.Y) or could be downloaded from the link in your latest download e-mail.

If you want to activate multiple keys on the same license server, submit them one at a time; the last received activation file will contain all purchased seats.

IDA Floating License Server

Activate the floating license server. It can be downloaded from this page.

Your Host ID Type

MAC Address (12 hexadecimal digits)

IP Address (XXX.XXX.XXX.XXX)

VM UUID in Amazon EC2 environment (i-XXXXXXXX...)

Your Host ID

Please specify the MAC address of a physical Ethernet network card on the computer that will run the server.
Note: if you're running the server on an Amazon EC2 instance, please use the MAC address of an Elastic network interface (ENI) attached to the instance.
For other cloud providers, you can use a global IPv4 address if you have a permanent one and it is accessible from the guest OS (e.g. do not use Amazon EIP).

Vault Server

Activate the Vault server.

Your Host ID Please specify the MAC address of a physical Ethernet network card on the computer that will run the server.

Your hostname (optional) Set this to the hostname of your server so the generated certificate matches the hostname of your server.

Lumina Server

Activate the Lumina server.

Your Host ID Please specify the MAC address of a physical Ethernet network card on the computer that will run the server.

Your hostname (optional) Set this to the hostname of your server so the generated certificate matches the hostname of your server.
