What are the differences between named, computer, and floating licenses?

Here's a short recap of all license types:

  • The named license is a license that is linked to a specific end-user via their e-mail address.
  • The computer license is a license that is linked to a specific computer and not to a physical person.
  • The floating license is a license that can be used on as many computers as required but only permits one concurrent use of the software at a time.

Further details and limitations of each license type are described in our License Agreement.
